Dr. Kurt Jetta, Founder and CEO of TABS Group recently had an article published in Chain Drug Review about the cosmetics industry. In the article, he highlighted some of the findings from the second part of our latest cosmetics survey, and shared a portion of our infographic.
“While there are numerous actions and implications coming from the study, the most relevant one appears to be the importance of offering a wide variety of brands to maximize sales. Heavy category buyers currently buy over eight brands, on average, and the 19 mass market brands all delivered equivalent levels of brand loyalty. These buyers love choice, and they love to linger in front of the cosmetics section. Give them more brands to choose from, and they will buy more from your store,” wrote TABS Group Founder and CEO, Dr. Kurt Jetta.
