TABS Analytics Named Best-in-Class Vendor for Post Event Analytics, Dashboard, and Data Management in POI 2020 TPx Vendor Panorama Report

POI continues to focus on improving holistic enterprise planning process centered around trade promotion and enabling technologies in the 2020 Vendor Panorama Report

Shelton, Conn. – August 31, 2020TABS Analytics today announced that for the 5th year in row it has earned best-in-class distinctions in the Promotion Optimization Institute’s (POI) 2020 TPx Vendor Panorama report. This year TABS Analytics was recognized in three categories: Post Event Analytics, Dashboard and Data Management.

The Promotion Optimization Institute (POI) continues to focus on improving the Holistic Enterprise Planning process centered around the trade promotion process and the enabling technologies. The TPx Vendor Panorama is designed to highlight the technology and related service options that can help to improve promotional outcomes and help an organization drive efficiency. In short, it is a guide to help consumer goods (CG) manufacturers as they seek to acquire, upgrade or geographically expand their TPx and enterprise planning capabilities.

According to POI, these facets of TPx are more relevant today than ever before. As the industry evolves with eCommerce, click and collect, and direct-to-consumer sales, POI noted that brick and mortar experiences are still valued by the consumer. This increases the need for organizations to have the visibility, robust insights and ability to balance their portfolio, costs and ecosystem.   • Data Management – The report indicated that TABS Analytics’ proprietary tool developed to manage data is “a differentiating strength in the platform which positively impacts the accuracy of the data and optimization outcomes. We have seen TABS successfully take on data harmonization challenges after other providers have failed.” It added that TABS provides “speed and depth of data cleansing/harmonization of disparate data in one platform.”


  • Post Event Analytics – The report discusses TABS Analytics’ suite of RGM analytics tools, which are “organized interactive analytics” that “highlight opportunity to optimize revenue and profit. Users will experience speed of thought analytics and answer the next right question with each step.” It added that “TABS delivers capabilities with white glove service and works with teams to utilize the tool and uncover meaningful actions that will drive growth.”

  • Dashboard – The report noted that TABS Analytics’ “dashboards continue to be impressive,” with a very strong user experience that is graphically engaging. It added that the dashboard “has all the capabilities of a power user tool, but is intuitive enough for the general user” and the “inclusion of the presentation builder to facilitate turning insights into impactful materials makes life easier.”
